Star Baker was my first project with the Metavision team, and it was a blast to work on! Star Baker brought the Great British Bake Off IP to Roblox, and it was a lot of fun creating so many vibrant and colourful assets and cakes.
I predominantly worked on ingredients, bakes, and decorations, but did also jump into a bit of environment work, creating items for set dressing, and also creating the Social Space tent.
Even though this project was for a major client, BBC Studios and Love Productions, we still had a lot of creative freedom to bring our own ideas to the table. Most cake shapes, bakes, and decorations were thought up by the team, and it was a lot of fun imagining what wacky creations the players would make out of all the assets.
